► Minimum Requirements
for Instructional
Substitute Teachers |

|
- Applicants must complete an online substitute
teacher application and submit all required
documents including a Substitute Reference Form from
their current or most immediate previous employer.
- Applicant must provide verification of the
following:
A minimum of
sixty semester (60) hours of credit or Associates
degree from an accredited college or university;
except in case of emergency as determined by the
Superintendent.
- Applicant must have a satisfactory fingerprint
background clearance (see
Hiring Guidelines).
- Applicant must complete Lee County Substitute
Teacher Orientation workshop.
- Applicant must be accessible by touch tone
telephone and have a phone number within our local
calling area.
