The District’s Annual
Retirement Seminar will be held on Thursday, February
4, 2010, from 4:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. at The Lee County
Public Education Center in the Board Room. On site registration will
begin at 4:00 p.m. and the program will begin promptly
at 4:30 p.m. (No registrations will be recorded prior to
the day of the event.)

Florida Retirement System (FRS)

Insurance and Benefits Department

BENCOR

Social Security
All employees who are considering retirement in the
next 18 months and have not attended a District
sponsored retirement seminar are strongly encouraged
to attend the entire seminar.
The focus for the evening will be retirement from
the FRS Pension Plan. However, retiring employees
who have chosen to switch to the Investment Plan may
find the seminar helpful regarding topics such as
Social Security and insurance benefits for retirees.
