HOW TO RENEW YOUR TEACHING
CERTIFICATE IF YOU ARE NOT A TEACHER FOR THE SCHOOL
DISTRICT OF LEE COUNTY. Pick up a
state renewal application CG-10R from the Personnel
Services Department, call 1-800-445-6739, or apply
online (see below) |

| HOW TO RENEW YOUR TEACHING CERTIFICATE IF YOU ARE
CURRENTLY A TEACHER IN LEE COUNTY.
Renewal credit must be earned by accumulating a
sufficient number of district in-service points and/or
appropriate college credit. The School District of Lee
County is responsible for renewing the certificates of
its employees, once an application is submitted. The
renewal application can be downloaded from this page
(see below), filled-out appropriately, and sent to
Personnel Services. A one time fee of $75.00* is
required for renewal. |

| RENEWAL DEADLINES Teachers may apply for
renewal during the year preceding the expiration date of
their five-year professional certificate. Renewal
applications can be received up to one year after the
expiration date, with a $30.00 late fee (above and
beyond the $75.00 normal fee). An informational
